motion sensor switches
How do I suppose to hook up my Motion Sensor light switch electrical wise?
On the motion sensor light switch,I have (2 Black wires and 1 Green wire) and coming out of the wall I have a (Red,Orange and a Blue Wire)
Green is obviously for grounding the unit, one of the black will likely be required to power it (connect to source power) and the other to power the load. (connects to and switches the light) As for the red, orange and blue in the wall, I recommend the use of a multi-meter to determine exactly what those wires are supplying power-wise as well as if one is for conducting the power to the light itself. Maybe if you could add more details I might be able to help you more.
