What is causing the Security light to stay on?

I have a 1993 Buick LeSabre. The Security light on the dashboard stays on all the time. What can be causing this to happen.

Aftermarket equipment in the dash. Cd Player, Alarm, etc.
Theres probably more reasons but thats the first that comes to mind.
